AKKA: Chief of Staff workshop

Our confidentiality commitment.

October 2, 2026 · Nothing here asks you to agree to anything.

From Akian Karofsky, LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company, and everyone who facilitates a class for us.

You will have your real numbers on a screen with other businesses in the class. Here is exactly what we do about that.

What we see

While we help you, we see what's on your screen: your revenue, your customers, your mail, your calendar, whatever you've brought. That's unavoidable — we can't help you build something around your business without looking at it.

What we never do with it

  • We don't copy it, keep it, or take it. No files off your laptop, no photographs of your screen, no notes on your numbers.
  • We don't use it in marketing. No case study, no example, no screenshot, no "one client we worked with" — nothing, unless you give it to us in writing and say we can.
  • We don't record the class. No audio, no video, no screenshots, nothing of what you're working on.

The one thing we might ask for

If you build a mapping file in class — the short file that tells your assistant which column in your software's export means what — we may ask to keep a copy, so the next person with the same software starts with it already built.

If we ask, we'll ask out loud, to you, not in front of the room. It is column names only, never your data. And no is a complete answer that costs you nothing — you'll get exactly the same class either way.

What we can't see, before or after

Your workspace is on your own laptop, in your own account. Your assistant reads your mail and calendar through a connection you make and can remove any time, from your own settings.

We have no account in it, no connector to it, and no way back into it. When the day ends, we have nothing of yours, and nothing that could give us access later. Your assistant runs on your own Claude account under whatever terms you have with its provider; that's between you and them, and we're not in the middle of it.

How long this lasts

Indefinitely. It doesn't expire when the class ends, and it applies to everyone who facilitates for us, not just to the person standing next to you.

If we get this wrong

Tell us. Write to contact@akiankarofsky.ai — it reaches Eric and Steve directly, and no one else.
